PROJECT OVERVIEW
This project examined Coca-Cola’s role in global plastic pollution through the lens of crisis communication, stakeholder management, and corporate accountability.
Our team analyzed the company’s public responses, historical controversies, stakeholder relationships, and environmental impact while evaluating how communication strategy influences public trust and brand perception.
MY ROLE:
• I led the visual direction and presentation design for the project, developing the overall graphic language, typography system, collage treatment, and slide composition strategy.
• I also contributed research focused on Coca-Cola’s corporate responses to environmental criticism and sustainability-related stakeholder concerns.
PROCESS / THINKING
I wanted the presentation to visually reflect the tension between corporate branding, consumer culture, and environmental consequence.
The design system combined bold typography, fragmented collage compositions, cutout imagery, and layered textures to mirror the overwhelming saturation of corporate advertising and plastic waste.
Rather than creating a conventional academic presentation, I approached the deck as an editorial narrative system. Through pacing, hierarchy, and visual contrast, it guides the audience through escalating themes of accountability, perception, and crisis.
